As the world's leading lung cancer organization, the IASLC distributes awards each year to celebrate those who make major contributions to the field and who produce exemplary academic work. The association also seeks to develop emerging lung cancer investigators through its awards and provides financial support to those who may lack the means to attend the IASLC's signature event, the IASLC World Conference on Lung Cancer.
